ODM JMB/BJZ/DG/BZ(DM) Series Lighting & Hand Lamp Control Transformer Suppliers, Company

The JMB/BJZ/DG/BZ(DM) series lighting and hand lamp control transformers are suitable for 50–60Hz AC circuits, widely used as control power for machine tools and mechanical equipment, as well as power for safety lighting and indicator lamps. Primary and secondary windings are wound separately. A single secondary winding carries full rated capacity; multiple windings are allocated separately. For center-tapped windings, each tap capacity is less than the rated capacity—only the highest voltage terminal bears the full rating. Reliable operation is guaranteed at altitudes up to 2500m, ambient temperature -25°C to +40°C, and 90% humidity. Not for explosive, corrosive, or heavy vibration environments. Suitable for rain and snow exposure.

Technical Features

The primary and secondary windings are wound separately. When there is only one secondary winding, it bears the full rated capacity of the transformer. If the secondary side includes control, lighting and indicator lamp windings, they are wound separately according to the capacity allocation of each winding. For transformers with a single winding and center taps, the capacity of each center tap is less than the rated capacity of the transformer, and only the highest voltage output terminal can bear the rated capacity.

Operating Conditions

This transformer can operate reliably under the following conditions:

  • 1. Altitude not exceeding 2500m;
  • 2. Ambient air temperature: maximum not exceeding 40℃, minimum not lower than -25℃;
  • 3. Relative air humidity: average maximum relative humidity of 90% in the wettest month;
  • 4. Free from severe vibration and impact;
  • 5. In a medium free from explosion hazard, and free from gases and conductive dust that corrode metals and damage insulation;
  • 6. In locations exposed to rain and snow.

Frequently Asked Questions

What applications are JMB series transformers suitable for?
They are primarily utilized for local lighting, indicator lamp circuits, and control electric supply in industrial mechanical equipment.
Can center taps carry the full rated capacity of the transformer?
No, for transformers featuring center taps, each individual tap carries less than the full rated capacity. Only the highest voltage output terminal can bear the entire rated capacity.
What are the ambient temperature requirements for operation?
The transformer operates reliably in environmental temperatures ranging from a minimum of -25℃ to a maximum not exceeding 40℃.
Is this transformer suitable for high-altitude environments?
Yes, it is rated for reliable standard operation at installation altitudes up to 2,500 meters above sea level.
How are multiple secondary windings configured?
When secondary circuits require distinct functions—such as control, lighting, and indicator indicators—they are wound separately according to the designated capacity distribution.
